PHYSICIAN Opportunity….GERIATRICS AND/OR INTERNAL MEDICINE
Are you seeking an excellent part-time or full time opportunity?
LifeLong Medical Care is looking for a clinician committed to providing high quality primary care for complex adult patients, ideally with experience working with the underserved, the elderly, and/or those with mental illness. Although a permanent full time hire is preferred, a part time or locums arrangement can be considered.
The East Oakland Clinic is a FQHC with a rich history of providing comprehensive, compassionate and innovative team-based adult primary care to a diverse community. Primary health care also is delivered to clients of Alameda County Behavioral Health Services, at a clinic shared with the County’s psychiatric and case management services. This combination assures excellent coordination of care for complex patients.
LifeLong patients include neighborhood residents, elderly, and disabled; some without insurance or homeless. Our team pursues an integrated approach, across a continuum of acuity and services, including Alta Bates hospital, psychosocial services, home visits, and skilled nursing facilities.
If you believe in comprehensive primary care for all, as well as continuous quality improvement in outpatient care, this practice opportunity should appeal.
Qualifications: Candidates must be Board Certified, possessing current CA Medical/Professional Licensure and at least one year related experience with multi-cultural, high-risk patients in outpatient primary care. Familiarity with electronic prescribing and electronic health records a plus.
Also desirable: ability to speak Spanish
