Description:
Our projects partner with the Ministry of Health to provide basic health care in Rural Jamaica. The citizens of the rural areas sometimes do not have the opportunity of getting good health care and this is a great opportunity to volunteer and learn the culture in 10 days!
Doctors of all specialties, nurses or physician assistants capable of seeing patients, triage or working the pharmacy, medical students, pharmacists, dentists and dental hygienists, optometrists or opticians.
Donations needed: Medications, medical equipment, dental equipment, reading glasses, clothing, school stationery.
Volunteer Cost: $1000 excluding airfare
