Mission Statement:
Our group sends medical mission teams to our clinic located in Dumay, Haiti. Our teams consist of Doctors, Nurses, EMT''s, Medical students, Nursing students, and lay persons with a heart to help. During the mission trip the teams see over 120 people a day. Our group also provides the villages children with food and is starting up a water project. Description:
Our group is looking for Doctors to lead upcoming medical mission trips to Dumay, Haiti. You choose the dates for your trip.
Generally a team goes down for about 7 days. (2 days normally of break, one of them being at the beach) You can bring people along with you but we usually provide you with the majority of the team. You will be working in a clinic in the rural region of Dumay, Haiti. There we have a clinic that has 4 available rooms to see patients in a pharmacy and a lab with basic tests. Our group was founded after the earthquake in 2010 and we have sent 8 teams so far. In clinic you will usually see around 120 patients a day with ranging problems. Without a leading M.D a team cant go so we need your help! Accompanying you on the team will also be an administrative leader to help you get used to the clinic and help out with the non medical aspect of the trip. You stay about 100 yards away from the clinic in secure air conditioned housing with 3 meals a day.
