Description:
Medicorps, with 20 years experience in Cambodia, places emphasis on involving you in the true medical care environment in this country, not just Western transplants based on Western medical standards. We like to challenge your ability to improvise and adapt, so that you walk away with a better understanding of the plight of poor countries and how to function in a very unfamiliar environment.
We place participants in local hospital settings and/or Community outreach programs. We work with government institutions and credited NGO''s to place you in a learning environment to educate yourself and the population that you come into contact with. We tailor your skills to your placement and have a wide array of possibilities to suit your desired area.
We can offer you a superbly stimulating professional and cultural experience. Our package includes accommodation, local transportation and professional training opportunities (with interpreter) for US $650. - for the first week and
$150. - for each additional one.
