Description:
Que Rico is a Uk registered charity - we are currently looking for a qualified doctor to work as a medical coordinator on our project in Cambodia.
It is a very unique role giving the candidate the chance to have a large amount of input into a rapidly growing and successful medical project.
We run a community project, and provide education workshops, health workshops, outreach consultation projects, medical research and health clinic support, in poverty stricken rural cambodia.
There is a great need for our work and we are seeking a trained doctor to work on our project and direct the medical side of our project. The role has two facets to it, acting as our doctor and diagnosing and treating patients in our outreach clinics and the local health clinics which we support. The other aspect will be to support and teach our medical volunteer and nurses and support them through their volunteering experience with us. You will also need to manage the budgeting side of the medical project, and direct the project towards our 3 year plan.
Candidates must be able to:
Able to speak, read and write fluent english
Work in a developing country in some of the poorest villages
Be organized and working within a small team, and establish links with local health authorities and clinic staff
Be a qualified and competent doctor
Be able to drive the medical data research aspect of our project
Willing to understand the difference between medical techniques in Cambodia compared to Western Medicine
Be flexible with working hours
Be willing and enthusiastic to be part of a successful dynamic team
