Mission Statement: Nest of Hope has a group of permanently dedicated and of about 25 committed members who mostly volunteer their time, energy and skills for the proper and smooth running of the association. We also depend on volunteers from all over the world who, for a short or long term dedicate their time and skills for our cause. The internal organisation is composed of a General Assembly, an Executive Board, and a supervisory and Monitoring Commission (SMC). Nest of Hope Cameroon is led by an Executive Council comprising an Executive Director who works in close collaboration with an Administrative Assistant, General Secretary, a Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and Communication Manager. A Board of Directors provides overall guidance The Board is made up of 9 members 6 women and 3 men. We accomplish this our aim through four main areas, improving the health of the poor and helping them with life saving health information , enabling orphans and less priviledged children have go to school, provision of buisness loans especially to women to help them break the cycle of poverty and become self-reliant, skill development and job creation.. To this effect, our mission is “Expanding opportunities for low-income women and children in Cameroon”

Description: The medical program is attached to hospitals in Yaounde, Kumba, Buea, Mamfe and in the rural areas of Cameroon. Volunteers on this program need to be registered medical doctors or nurses and students intending to be medical professionals. Volunteers work with local doctors to assist in the daily medical routine - applying dressings, prescribing minor medication, recording patient history, patient consultations, minor surgeries, and counselling patients. Volunteers can work in t areas of maternal health, surgery, laboratories, dental clinics, counseling, and testing.It should be noted that, in Cameroon we have one medical doctor to thousands of patients.Doctors are therefore overworked. In rural areas patients have to walk very long distances in order to see a medical doctor or recieve medical attention.
