Medical help needed for very poor communities in Burkina Faso
Mission Statement:
1. To help the poor and disadvantaged youth of Burkina Faso obtain a basic education.
2. To sustain life and prevent illness by raising awareness about health issues (HIV/AIDS, high blood pressure, etc..), training volunteers to treat basic wounds and cuts and encouraging trained medical staff to undertake benevolent heath programs in Burkina Faso.
3. To empower women by donating goats to raise in order to fight extreme poverty.
4. To assist villagers with projects that empower them and help fight extreme poverty.
Description:
Our nonprofit organization OUAGANET Inc is involved in the rural region of Napone treating wounds and cuts sustained by students and villagers for over seven years. The area has serious health issues due to lack of skilled medical professionals, clinics and the extreme poverty which makes basic health a luxury. There are no specialists in treating chronic alcoholism in the entire region of over 32,000 inhabitants.
We need specialists to help treat chronic alcoholism and also support us in the area of education to prevent serious health issues related to abusing moonshine beverages.
